Athletes Celebrating Mother’s Day Makes Us Want To Call Mom Again

Athletes celebrate Mother's Day

Mother’s Day 2020 may have looked a little different for most of us, but our favorite athletes celebrate Mother’s Day with the usual emotional social media tributes that had us wanting to call our moms all over again. While most of us are used to extended family gatherings and gorgeous brunch buffets, this Mother’s Day 2020 had something else in store for all of us. Still, we all managed to celebrate in style even if we weren’t able to be with our moms today.

Naturally, most of us didn’t get to see our moms in person this year. Safer-at-home orders have kept us apart from the ones we love. Some of us took to Zoom Mother’s Day celebrations, sent flowers and cards or did a drive by Mom’s Day party to let our moms know much we care.

Athlete’s Mother’s Day tributes are no different than ours. Sure the Dolphins’ newest star got his mom a car, but most sent love and appreciation. Just like we did. You’ll probably want to call your mom again after seeing Megan, Lindsay, LeBron and Steph’s tributes. Do it. Your mom gave you life. You can thank her more than once.

We’re thinking why give mom only just one day? No matter how old her kids are, moms are always so dedicated to everyone else’s happiness. During these crazy time where we can all seem so isolated, there’s no better time to let mom know she’s not alone. Thanks to how our favorite athletes celebrate Mother’s Day for the reminder.
