What To Watch This Weekend: NFL Playoffs And More

Female Sports Fan Watching Spots

The week, it feels like it’s the NFL’s world and we’re all just living in it. That’s because the playoffs are down to just four teams, winner takes the Super Bowl. But the playoffs aren’t the only game in town, even if it seems that way.  There’s enough basketball and hockey to keep you occupied this entire long weekend.  We’re watching:

What We're Watching This Weekend: 1-17-20

1. NFL: Green Bay vs. 49’ers in San Francisco

The 49’ers have had a dream season with QB Jimmy Garoppolo coming back from a torn ACL last year and the defense coming together to be one of the best in the NFL. Green Bay hasn’t made the playoffs since 2016. And since QB Aaron Rodgers is from the bay, this one feels like a hometown game for all. The winner takes all, or the Super Bowl that is.

Game Time: Sunday January 19th. 3:40 pm, PST.
Where To Watch: CBS or on Fox Sports App.

2. NFL: Texans vs. Chiefs in Kansas City

The Texans threw the NFL for a loop by beating the they always win the Super Bowl Patriots and now they face Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to win their division. But it’s tough not to root for last year’s MVP, Mahomes, who at just 24 years-old seems unstoppable.

Game Time: Sunday January 19th, 12:05 pm PST.
Where To Watch: CBS or CBS Sports App

3. NBA: Lakers vs. Rockets in Houston

James Harden and Russell Westbrook vs. Le Bron and Anthony Davis. 4 great players. 4 big personalities. The Lakers lead their division though Houston isn’t far behind in fifth place. Any chance to see all those great play against one another? We’ll take it.

Game Time: Saturday January 18th, 5:30 pm PST.
Where To Watch: ABC
