Patriots fans, you okay? We get it. Tom Brady is about as synonymous with the New England Patriots as peanut butter is with chocolate. They go together, but Tom’s contract is up and he’s ditching New England for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Yes, Tampa Bay.
It may take some getting used to, but Tom Brady/Buccaneers does have a nice ring to it. If it seems like a random choice for a California kid who just launched a Hollywood production company, listen up. Tom Brady has a really good reason for choosing the Buccaneers.
Sources say that Tom Brady’s son Jack, his child with ex-Bridget Moynahan, lives in New York and Brady wanted to make sure he was close to his son. Well, that news is going to melt the hearts of even the most staunch Brady hater.
So while Patriots fans are licking their wounds, it’s great to see that Tom Brady values family just about as much as he values football.
Tough not to be a Buccaneers fan now, isn’t it?
